Croft Surveyors were delighted to be instructed as designer and contract administrator for the conversion of a section of the Plymouth Guildhall into a NHS Digital Mammography Unit.

The project involved the conversion of a cloakroom area of the Listed Building, to provide a breast screening unit in the community, and needed to be sympathetically designed to overcome the concerns of the Conservation Officer. This also formed the last stage of a refurbishment programme in which Croft Surveyors were also involved, relating to the upgrading of the Derriford Hospital breast care unit to accept digital images.
